Shared Responsibility
Interactions between cars and pedestrians or cyclists account for many unnecessary road traffic fatalities and injuries in Maryland and across the United States. The challenge of this brief was to develop a campaign that builds a greater sense of shared responsibility between vulnerable road users (VRU) and vehicle drivers to reduce the number of crashes involving VRUs.

The selected Re:act 2022 U.S. campaign, ‘We are all going somewhere’, was created by University of Maryland-College Park student Madison Beakes to educate all road users about our shared responsibility for road safety.
